The heart braid

1-Take your hair into two sections by dividing down the middle.

Starting at the crown of your head (head), make the curve of the top of the heart. Stop at the back of       your ear. Do not worry to go right at the back (bottom) of the heart, just go to your ear.

  2 - Clip hair that way as seen above.

I like to do this braid using "a braid to French" instead of the more familiar because it shows the form, but you can make another braid! Begin the French braid to the party (as seen above) and bend the braid around your ear. At this point you just use hair outside the heart shape, the hair is not in the clip.

  3 - The braid down the back of the ear and then removes the clip. Now you can begin to attach hair.

NOTE: Do not begin to attach hair inside the heart until you reach the back of the ear. That's the trick!

4 - Braid all the way down to the neck and ties.

5 - Do the same exact thing (or have someone help you do the same exact thing :) on the other side.

6 - Once you arrive at the nape of the other side, it gets a little tricky. I like to take my 6 pieces (3 pieces of the left braid 3 pieces of the braid right) and join (join) together. So I divided into three parts back in and do a regular braid all the way down.

 7 - Link it with a clear elastic and you're done.

     For added texture, I like to gently pull each piece (each) of the braid!
